On Feb. 15, Flanders Arts Institute will host the first session for the Landscape Sketch of the Arts 2025

Art plays an important role in health and wellbeing. Art reconnects vulnerable people with themselves and with society, and counters exclusionary mechanisms.

This session will focus on strategies within the arts that maximise access for disabled people as artists, audiences, and arts professionals. Speakers from British Council, Disability Arts Wales and Creative Scotland will share current and best practice in the UK. Cripping The Space, from Flanders, will present its new charter.

This session centres working towards a sustainable future in the arts. Speakers from the UK and Flanders will present their vision for transitioning towards a more sustainable future and explain how they work with artists, audiences, organisations and governments in their region.
