Parenting (ENG)
How do you balance care responsibilities with the creative process of your work as a musician? How do we ensure that artists who are caregivers do not become invisible and fall by the wayside? During this session, we will explore how we can structurally embed care into the way we work.

Physical care (NL)
Making music is a top-level sport. But how do you ensure that your career lasts longer than that of the average footballer or cyclist? How do you look after your own body? And what if one day your body can’t keep up any longer?

Colour-coding system and transgressive behaviour (NL)
The Colour System was developed by Sociaal Fonds Podiumkunsten in collaboration with Sensoa and Engagement Arts. The tool is a first step towards finding a shared language for discussing transgressive behaviour within the arts sector. It provides guidance on how to approach incidents – which often fall into a grey area – in a more analytical and objective manner. It uses criteria that can help to examine and identify why something is or is not acceptable in a particular context.
This session will be repeated at 15:20

Mental health (NL)
As a musician, you face various expectations and pressures, both from within yourself and from those around you. How do you deal with these, and how do you look after your mental health? And how do you strike a good balance between the creative side of making music and all the other aspects of a professional career in classical music, such as networking, booking gigs, rehearsing, teaching and travelling?

Co-creation and collaborative care (ENG)
Playing together and creating together. In classical music in particular, a composition is only very rarely the work of a single individual. It is almost always the result of collaboration. But passions can sometimes run high, leading to outcomes that are both beautiful and challenging – and often both at the same time. How can we ensure that we work together even more effectively?
