Writing table Brussels #2 - summer 2026
Would you like to submit an application for a grant or project subsidy under the Arts Decree on 15 September 2026? Do you already have a detailed plan but are having trouble writing your application, or do you need someone to bounce ideas off? Would you like to exchange ideas with fellow artists or experts? Or do you have questions about the KIOSK format?
Then come and work on your application during our writing tables in various Flemish cities!
What?
We’re bringing together a group of artists and arts professionals who share the same goal and deadline to apply for a grant or project subsidy under the Arts Decree. We’re also inviting a few ‘writing and application experts’ who’d be happy to help you find answers or contribute ideas on how to put your plans into words.
Practical information
During the writing sessions, you can work on your application and, in between, have discussions with the experts present. Colleagues from Flanders Arts Institute will help you with quick questions or any uncertainties.
At the writing session itself, you can sign up for discussions with the experts present. You will receive an email in advance detailing who will be there and how the sign-ups will work.
It is important that you already have a concrete and detailed plan in place and have approached the necessary partners for your grant or project. For this edition, we are focusing solely on applications to be submitted by the deadline of 15 September 2026.
The writing sessions are intended to support you in drafting your application or receiving feedback on it, not to finalise your grant or project for later submission rounds.
We provide a table, chair, Wi-Fi, coffee and tea. You provide a clearly detailed plan and a laptop.

Wednesday 19 August, from 1.30pm to 5.30pm at Huis van het Nederlands (Brussels).
