Writing table Leuven – Summer 2025
Are you applying for a grant or project subsidy under the Arts Decree on 15 September 2025? Do you already have a detailed plan but are having trouble writing it out or do you need a sounding board? Would you like to exchange ideas with fellow artists or experts? Or do you have questions about the KIOSK format?
Then come work on your file at our writing table in Leuven!
What?
During the writing tables, we bring together artists and art workers who are applying for a grant or project subsidy within the Arts Decree on 15 September.
We also invite some experts with dossier knowledge or writing experience who can give feedback on certain parts of your dossier, think with you about articulating your plans or help with your questions about the dossier.
The writing tables do not serve to advise you on scholarships or project grants, or their preparation. During these moments, we focus on feedback and help in writing out the dossier. To take part in a writing session, you must therefore already be prepared with your dossier.

Practical
Prior to the writing session, you will receive an overview of the experts present and their expertise by e-mail. You can sign up for 2 to 3 interviews with an expert of your choice. You can work on your dossier between these interviews. We also invite you to talk to fellow artists and art workers.
It is important that you already have a concrete and elaborate plan and have approached the necessary partners for your grant or project. During these writing tables, we focus only on dossiers that will be submitted by the deadline of 15 September 2025.
The writing tables serve to support the writing or proofreading of your file, not to shape your grant or project for later submission rounds.
We provide a table, chair, wifi, coffee and tea. You provide a clearly developed plan and a laptop. This session is organised in collaboration with Cultuurloket.

Wednesday 16 July in Het Depot Leuven, from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.

Please note: these sessions are only for people submitting a grant file on 15 September 2025.
- To support as many participants as possible, you can only register for one writing table. Don’t worry, usually everyone gets a spot.
