Why work on participatory arts?
What drives us to work on participatory arts practices? What are the urgencies that drive us?
-
From 11:00 to 13:00
Roundtable discussions: pressing issues in participatory arts practice today
In smaller groups we will explore issues that are alive in participatory arts practices today. With and for which communities are we working? Which communities are we missing? Who is our audience, who is a participant? Which expertise do we remunerate and which do we not? Process-oriented work or product-oriented? Which methods do we develop? And what structures do we develop around participatory practice? Working regionally, nationally and/or internationally?
-
From 14:00 to 14:50
Obstacles along the way
What obstacles do we experience and how can we overcome them?
-
From 14:50 to 15:45
Future perspectives
What picture of the future do we see for participatory arts?
