NEIGHBOURING FREQUENCIES: meeting for Dutch and Flemish sound art professionals

Flanders Arts Institute and DutchCulture invite you to a meeting for sound art professionals. During the FIBER Festival, we present a day of sound art from the Netherlands and Belgium under the title Neighbouring Frequencies.

With this programme - consisting of installations, performance and lectures - the three organisations present the richness and many manifestations of sound art within both countries.

Flanders Arts Institute invites 20 artists, musicians and professionals from Flanders to participate in the programme.

Who? artists, musicians, curators/programmers, researchers, journalists and employees of arts institutions.

Practical

We pay travel expenses (based on real costs and up to a maximum of €100) and participation in the public programme.

For the selection we apply the 'first-come, first-served' principle. If you are not among the first 20 candidates and do not have the means to participate at your own expense, please let us know by sending an email to lissa@kunsten.be.

The event starts with a networking moment for professionals. We present the broad Dutch and Flemish field to each other and explore interdisciplinary cooperation.
