Workshop Kroniek Publiek: Break down the barriers with your audience
The relationship between art, culture and the public is constantly evolving. More and more artists and organisations are seeking ways to deepen that relationship, break down barriers and make it more inclusive.
During this workshop, we’ll explore your relationship with your audience using a set of cards: the Kroniek Publiek tool. Join colleagues from the arts sector to discover the tool during an interactive workshop. Learn from insights drawn from the research and develop new approaches to your relationship with your audience.
Kroniek Publiek
Based on a multi-year study, interviews and real-life examples, Flanders Arts Institute developed the Kroniek Publiek tool. This tool helps artists, arts and culture professionals, organisations and policymakers to re-examine and further develop the relationship between art, culture and the public.
Using a set of cards, your relationship with your audience is explored and challenged. You navigate through different types of cards in a playful way.

- Case studies: what does this look like in practice?
Who is it for?
Anyone working in the arts who wants to explore changing relationships with audiences – whether as a creator (visual arts, performing arts, classical music), an arts and culture professional (curator, programme coordinator, audience engagement officer, receptionist, ticketing or communications officer…) or a policy officer. So you don’t need to be an audience engagement worker to take part or to start using the tool.
