Hear here

Neighbouring Frequencies takes place this year within Hear Here: Walking along sound art and heritage in Leuven.

24.04 → 9.06

Hear Here takes you on a walk along sound art in Leuven. Fifteen artworks about sound or silence resonate at historical heritage locations in Leuven. On the occasion of the 600th anniversary of KU Leuven, this edition highlights the historical university buildings. With a map in hand, you walk from a medieval water gate to an abandoned schoolhouse and an imposing baroque chapel. At each location, a sound installation engages in dialogue with the acoustics and architecture. Both historical works by great sound art pioneers and new creations by Belgian artists are featured. So put on your walking shoes and experience Leuven's heritage with different ears and eyes. Free and suitable for all ages.
