Writing table Ghent – Spring 2025 (waiting list)
Are you applying for a grant or project subsidy under the Arts Decree on 15 March 2025? Do you already have a detailed plan, but are you having trouble writing it out or do you need a soundboard? Would you like to exchange ideas with fellow artists or experts? Or do you have questions about the KIOSK format?
Then come and work on your application with us during our writing table in Ghent!
What?
During the writing tables, we will bring together artists and art workers who are applying for a grant or project subsidy within the Arts Decree on 15 March. We will also invite some experts with experience in writing dossiers, who will think with you about articulating your plans, or help you with your questions.
Practical
Prior to the writing session, you will receive an overview of the experts present and their expertise by e-mail. You can sign up for 2 to 3 interviews with an expert of your choice. You can work on your dossier between these interviews. We also invite you to talk to fellow artists and art workers.
It is important that you already have a concrete and elaborate plan and have approached the necessary partners for your grant or project. During these writing tables, we focus only on dossiers that will be submitted by the deadline of 15 March 2025.
The writing tables serve to support the writing or proofreading of your file, not to shape your grant or project for later submission rounds.
We provide a table, chair, wifi, coffee and tea. You provide a clearly developed plan and a laptop. This session is organised in collaboration with Cultuurloket, VI.BE and VAi.
When and where
Wednesday 12 February in De Bijloke, Ghent, from 1.30pm to 5pm.

- Monday 27 January, from 1.30pm to 5pm in Antwerp (together with Cultuurloket and VAi).
- Wednesday 29 January, from 1.30pm to 5pm at STUK, Leuven (together with Cultuurloket and VAi).
- Monday 10 February, from 1.30pm to 5pm at Wiels, Brussels (together with Cultuurloket, VI.BE and VAi).

Participation is free and places are limited! We therefore ask you to cancel in time if you unexpectedly cannot come.
